The Sate and the US Constitutios, should be amended, especially now, through an initiative process. Pleadings and petitions, can be blocked
by bad politicians. For example, the Constitutions may read; "Only by the vote of the People, may this Constitution be amended." "No taxes, "fees" of any kind, may be imposed, without the vote of the People." "Government [elected], may not engage in free enterprise. Only the People, respectively, may engage in a free enterprise system." "No licenses of any kind, shall government-elected, be issued, as to grant a form of permission, to engage in free labor, business, unless a person is employed in government-elected service, and is engaged in a medical service profession, or provide a service as a contractor, to the government-elected."
"Government-elected, shall not enter into any dealings/treaties with foreign countries, that may effect the general welfare of the People, and the Rights of the Constitution." A public official/employee, may be removed from office/position, at any time, by the People, on evidence, when the laws of this Constitution is violated, by any process of law." "No source of borrowed revenue, by the government-elected, shall be sought, from any foreign county." "No foreign source, shall have control over the US economy, nor on any business affairs of the People."

Eliminate law of gathering of, "thousand of signatures," in attempt to change a law, or to "recall" an official. They just want to make the process, more difficult. Simply, file a criminal/civil complaint-- that it!

Greetings-

First, when I was commuting in an Explorer, I verified that 89 octane gets better mileage than 87. Besides, both of my cars' owners manuals recommend 89 octane, so I've been using 89 exclusively for several years now.

I'd recommend eliminating 15 blends by eliminating 87 octane across the board.

The definition of nuclear energy needs to be broadened to include both fission and fusion, in my opinion.

Fission works now, and despite a number of shortcomings, is a clean technology.

Aneutronic fusion (fusing hydrogen and boron atoms) is expected to reach energy break-even later in 2010 or early in 2011. The proof of concept reactor, the third in a series of successful scaling experiments over the last 25 years, make this worth watching like a hawk.

Fission and fusion both convert a small amount of mass into a large amount of energy, due to the Theory of Relativity. Aneutronic Fusion does it without making high energy neutrons (radioactivity) and radioactive wastes.

A reactor that can fit in your garage for less than $1M installed can power a village or subdivision.

You can learn more about the design, which dates back to 1954, by searching for "Dense Plasma Focus". Wikipedia has a detailed article.

Government fusion research is mostly dictated by international treaty to focus on the radioactive deuterium-tritium fuel, using the tokamak reactor design.

Needless to say, radioactive fuel creates radioactive wastes, just not as much as fission does. When the Tokamak was adopted around 1964, the D-T fuel cycle made a lot more sense than it does now.

You can also learn more (all the way down to the theory and math if you wish) at focusfusion.org

Healthcare reform can start now with no high price tag

Obama and Congress are taking the entirely wrong approach to healthcare reform. We can be doing so much right now to improve healthcare without suspicious price tags. There is nothing wrong with carrying out reform in two phases: the immediate and low price-tag phase, and the longer-term, let's-find-the-money-first phase.

What can be done now, with little public opposition:

One group plan
Everyone would have access to insurance if all insurance companies were required to offer a plan to individuals as though they were all in one large company group plan, with the same rate and no exclusions. There is no cost to taxpayers; premiums are paid by the insured.

Guaranteed coverage and insurance market reforms
Few would argue with such provisions. The health insurance industry has been such a Wild West that companies could promise anything and provide nothing. They suffered no bad consequences when they blatantly breached contracts with subscribers. Other than enforcement, there would be no cost to taxpayers.

Essential benefits
An independent committee would define an "essential benefit package" as a minimum quality standard. It would include preventive services with no co-pays or deductibles, mental health services, and oral health and vision for children. It would cap the amount that consumers have to spend per year, and cost taxpayers nothing. Insurance companies could add features to this basic package. Now they can get away with not paying for basic services because most people do not have a choice of plans, and insurance plans are far too complicated to easily compare.

See the rest of the article at <a href="http://www.pbzproductions.com/newsletter-green%20living/healthcare%20reform%2002-11-10.html">http://www.pbzproductions.com/newsletter-green%20living/healthcare%20reform%2002-11-10.html

These no- or low-cost changes would greatly improve care and save millions. They are the first step. There is no reason to delay them in order to get a “comprehensive” healthcare reform. No reform can possibly work without them in place first.

Patty Zevallos
media producer – web, video, print
www.pbzproductions.com

Rather than a veiled reference to my blog post, you might as well include a link to it.

http://superkev.net/2010/01/12/on-the-backs-of-tennessees-middle-class-or-the-story-behind-tea-party-nations-dishonest-beginnings/

You mention that there will be weeds within our movement, and certainly this is to be expected. There will even be those who will try to abuse the goodwill efforts and take advantage of the movement for their own benefit. Those people will be the cancers of this movement, not the mainstream. When we see the cancer, should we not, as a self-regulating body, work to remove it?

That is all we whistleblowers are trying to do. Rather than laud praises on anyone trying to provide this movement any kind of leadership — Judson to be included, certainly — you would do well to keep a skeptical eye on these would-be leaders. The demands we make of government require our own movement to continuously keep leaders, even in groups as small as towns or counties, under rigorous internal audits of operations and finances. Proper leaders will emerge from the critical eye all the better for it. The cancers will be seen for who they are, and their attempts to leech off the movement will be thwarted.

Grassroots Movement = Tea Party = for the people by the people

Tea Party Convention =Sarah Palin as main speaker= quit as Governor= tickets to the event are $549 each???!!!???

It seems the two statements should have nothing to do with each other...

The real members of the Tea Party Movement are not quitters...We don't abandon our elected posts, our jobs, or responsibilities. This movement was born out of sheer frustration with Washington, the Big Brother Police State, and taxation without representation. Now the Tea Party Movement has been infiltrated, watered down, and Sarah Palin has been elected Rogue Queen of the Movement. What a crock! And $549 for 1 ticket!!! That's highway robbery! Compare this with the upcoming Campaign for Liberty Convention in Atlanta GA 1/15-1/17/2010..Ron Paul is the main speaker who has voted Constitutionally and said no to bigger government, unnecessary war, and higher taxes... and the price to attend his Convention? 65$!!!

When are so-called 'Conservatives' and 'Republicans' going to learn? Perhaps, they don't want to truly experience liberty and America the way our Founding Fathers intended it to be. Perhaps, having FOX (FAUX) NEWS spoon feed them their new opinions on Obama, Endless War, and Al Quaeda is what they settle for...Mike Huckabee, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity validate their existence and entertain the fake 'Conservatives' all the while they bash True conservatives and Americans like Ron Paul.

Evidence of insult and discrimination against True Conservatives and Constitutionalists by FOX (FAUX) NEWS and their Underlings:

Glenn Beck calls Ron Paul supporters 'terrorists':
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/7601

Hannity insults/discredits Ron Paul and his supporters:
Ron Paul Florida Post Debate w/ Hannity & Colmes 10-21-07
Hannity tries to discount the poll results but Ron Paul forces Hannity to affront the audience, insult FOX News, or admit Ron Paul won.
